Baz thanks for all the vids you have done-

You are very welcome!

Baz-

do you have a recommended strategy for tackling PGMMV, I have got (pretty) much all of the beginner series internalized.

problem is I started a (time sensitive) game and now that I have used up all my knowledge from the beginner series I am kind of stuck- would you recommend pausing the dev of the game (time be damned) and diving back into tutorials?

my experience level is novice- no code except for a small amount of BASIC in early 80s (really showing the age here) but I come from a mechanical/cooking/musical background so the hands on learning is the best-

again thanks for all the vids and let me know, I don't wanna give up I really enjoy the program(s) (using aesprite too)

I would never give up the dream, maybe tutorials will help. Mostly what is going to get you better is just doing things in the engine. I usually don't recommend making your dream game right away though, start with a mini version of the dream. Like a 2 scene ordeal, then you can start seeing what logic is scalable and what isn't. Scalable is a very very important thing or else you will get stuck a lot and that is no fun!

thanks! just in the last couple of days have things started to click and started putting together some logic out of the blue.. pretty cool
